SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed concerning the substantial quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office focused on service the area every day. The service issue made for intervention activities a higher inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tough with the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to allow the servicing of all customers and maximize entry to website Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
